The genesis of the college can be traced from the establishment of the Animation Training way back in southern part of Tamil Nadu. Later in the 2009 MASC (Media Arts & Science College) was started with a vision to provide state of the art training through best infrastructure and expert faculties. MASC is a dedicated institution for media studies. The college imparts and trains for knowledge & skills on 3D Animation, Filmmaking, Gaming, Mass Communication, Journalism and Advertising, Computer Graphics, Visual Effects. Besides promoting research and disseminating knowledge gained there from, the institution fosters cooperation between the academic and media communities.
